WHO WE ARE
notata means "notes" in northern Norwegian, and was originally built as an internal tool for a family office from the Lofoten islands.
The goal in creating notata was to produce a tool that would reduce bias when evaluating early stage startups, and to make it easier to engage our network when looking for co-investors.
The first prototype of notata was designed to be a simple mobile-first tool making it easy to jot down notes while watching companies pitch, and to take notes between meetings.
Today, notata is the preferred decision-making tool for early stage investors, with the ability of sharing deal flow and creating groups or "clubs".
In short, notata is a top-of-funnel tool that focuses on investors, evaluations, and the relationships between investors.
